The Council of Nógrád County keeps working on motivating the participants of the local economy any possible way to achieve their goals and supports their constant development, therefore it has already started several successful initiatives. A good example for this is the “Vedd a nógrádit!” (purchase the products of Nógrád) program, that collects the producers of the county into clusters, supporting them with a self-developed online marketplace and communication campaigns, or the “Projekt doktor” initiative, that use union and national funds to support the county projects.

There are several trade associations in Nógrád county to help the fruitful operation of the existing enterprises and the problem-free establishing of new ones.
